We thank you very much for the great interest you have shown in the Laugavegur Ultra marathon 2025. We are extremely humble and proud to be able to say that this years registration was a record. It's going to be a big running party on July 12, 2025!

What is included in the price is a long sleeve shirt from 66°North, surveillance and security measures, water and energy drinks at refreshment stations, Toilet facilities on the way, Transport of luggage to Blafjallakvisl and to Husadalur in Thorsmork, services of a doctor and nursing staff and more.
55 km off road race
The Laugavegur trail is located in the southern highlands of Iceland and connects the nature reserves Landmannalaugar and Thorsmork. For many runners the Laugavegur Ultra Marathon is the most enjoyable race in Iceland. The course is 55 km and takes runners through areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Big challenge
Competitors must be in a very good physical shape to take part in this 55 km Ultra Marathon. The Laugavegur trail is very challenging and takes the runner through areas of outstanding natural beauty.
